Best Things to Do
Explore World Famous Cities
New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, Quebec, Vancouver, Chicago, New Orleans – so many amazing cities are waiting to be discovered.
Camp in North America’s National Parks
North America’s national parks never disappoint. Whether you want to explore the famous Rocky Mountains in Canada’s Banff and Jasper National Parks or take in the wild west vibes of California and Nevada, North America’s where it’s at. Canada is also turning the big 150 this year, just sayin’.
Gaze Over the Rim of the Grand Canyon
Not only is it another major travel experience that you should be ticking off your bucket list, but it’s the ultimate USA experience. Hiking the mighty Grand Canyon in the US state of Arizona brings you face-to-face with incredible natural beauty where photos simply do not do it justice.
The best part is that you don’t necessarily need to be an experienced hiker as there are a variety of day hikes and trails that can be done at your own pace.Trails are based on both the North and South Rim of the Canyon (a popular one being the Bright Angel trail).
Swim in an Underground Cenote in Mexico
Mexico is known for its sun-kissed beaches and epic Maya ruins but have you experienced the incredible underground cenotes? Found across the Yucatan Peninsula, these underwater sinkholes are filled with freshwater which you can swim in. Some are open, others are deep within the ground, but all of them are absolutely fantastic when you want to cool down from the Mexican sun.
Get Awestick at the National Wonders of Canada
Canada is blessed with beautiful destinations like Niagara Falls and the stunning Rocky Mountains. They both look even more impressive in person.
Foods to Try
Tacos Al Pastor
Tacos – I probably don’t have to say anything else! If you’re crazy about tacos then you have to try tacos al pastor, a dish inspired by the lamb shawarma, which is a meal Lebanese immigrants introduced to the country. It’s a popular street food in both, Mexico and the US.
