Alicante Airport
Alicante airport is located 12 km southwest of the city. Buses run on a frequent schedule to the city, the ride costs a couple of euros. Taxis ferry people to the city for a cost of around €15, the journey takes 20 minutes.
Getting Around
If you’re not sure what to do for transport then your best bet could be to hire a car at Alicante airport, this will provide you with the freedom and flexibility to explore Alicante and the surrounding areas. Nightlife
In keeping with Spanish culture most bars and clubs don’t start to fill up until 2 or 3 am. Prior to this it’s a good idea to get your evening started in a tapas bar such as Bar Potato, or try some Spanish wine at a bodega in the old part of town known as Casco Antiguo.
The great thing about the city is that all the nightlife is concentrated on one strip – the Muelle de Puerto, which literally means Pier of the Port. This is where you’ll find the most popular nightclubs in Alicante
Once you’re ready to take things up a notch head to one of Muelle de Puerto’s many nightclubs such as Z Club or Piripi, where the party doesn’t stop until the sun comes up. Alternatively, Casco Antiguo is also home to a number of dance spots like La Mision and La Havana, both of which offer a slightly more authentic Spanish vibe.

Alicante is within range of Benidorm and Valencia.
